Many people who live in
the Metropolitan Baltimore
and Washington, DC areas are discovering that there
ARE waterfront and water
view homes available
without going onto Maryland's Eastern Shore.
I have developed a new
section for my web site devoted specifically to
Maryland's Water-Oriented homes. This is similar to my
special section about new home developments ... and some of the homes on the waterfront and
water view lists will be duplicated there. You can also

One thing to realize when
dealing with new construction and waterfront or water
view properties in Maryland is that they generally are
not cheap, and it's going to be very tough to find
quality properties that compare to the same types of
properties in non-water-oriented communities. There are
also many things that must be considered that wouldn't
necessarily be the case with more traditional homes (such
as increased insurance costs, flood insurance, critical
area concerns, wetlands, etc.)
The information that I am providing
here does not include raw land that may be for sale on
which you might be able to build a home. That is a
completly different and much more complicated process that is best left to professionals in many
cases.
